American Pickle, An

An immigrant finds himself in contemporary Brooklyn after falling into a vat of pickle brine one hundred years ago, existing in the brine perfectly preserved. He then tracks down his only living descendant, an introverted computer coder.

A simple Jewish man named Herschel Greenbaum (Seth Rogen) works in a pickle factory in Brooklyn. One day he falls into a vat of brine and stays there, perfectly preserved, for 100 years. He comes back to life and goes to stay with his great-great-grandson, Ben, in contemporary Brooklyn.
