Five shipwrecked English teenagers take refuge in an island hotel that is decorated for New Years. The problem is, it’s early summer, and soon enough, even the walls themselves are striking out against them…
Also known as Time Warp Terror, the British Bloody New Year is still another “hacked-up teenager” yarn. This time, six partying teens are stranded in a spooky old hotel on New Year’s Eve. On this very spot, on January 1, 1960, a New Year’s party turned into a massacre. Ever since that time, the joint has been haunted. Further elaboration on the plotline is surely unnecessary; Bloody New Year gets down to business fairly quickly, and doesn’t let up until the closing credit roll.
