Erotic Adventures of Zorro, The

By day, Zorro (Douglas Frey) performs his usual feats of derring-do, protecting the innocent and unwary from the evil deeds of the colonial mayor of Nuestra Ciudad de La Reina de Los Angeles (L.A., in 1820). By night, he woos the ladies of Spanish California. This German/French co-production features softcore pornographic sexual situations.

People familiar with Exploitation Monarch David F. Friedman’s work will be amazed over the high production values and acting in this entertaining tale. Of course it’s sleazy as hell, some scenes are close to porn, but the spoofy jokes are a riot. Trashmovie icon Bob Cresse is hilarious as Sgt. Felipio Latio (get it?) and John Alderman ain’t bad as Estaban.
