Happy Hour

A chemist experimenting with different formulas stumbles upon an ingredient that, when added to beer, makes it absolutely irresistible. Before he realizes it, an international spy is after him to try to get the formula for himself.

Denver’s Marshall Industries produces America’s top-selling beer. Blake Teegarden (Jim Parrott), a chemist for the company, discovers an ingredient capable of making the beer dangerously addictive. Marshall (James Newell) seizes upon this discovery and soon enjoys a monopoly over beer sales. Americans guzzle beer nonstop — citizens are perpetually drunk, and the drinking age is lowered to six. Then a rival company sets out to steal the formula, causing a fierce, drunken battle to erupt.
