A young man, Jason, decides to go to a remote village in Asia to meet Kate, whom he has been chatting with online for a while. But he becomes increasingly disturbed as he starts to find out Kate’s secrets.
Jason (Jeff Gonek), a young filmmaker, travels to a remote village in China to meet Kate (Lei Wang), another aspiring filmmaker. Though Jason has romantic intentions, Kate seems to want Jason there for other reasons. As Jason starts seeing strange things, and as Kate’s behavior leads him to believe she’s possessed, Jason becomes increasingly concerned and discovers Kate and the village are not what they appear to be.
