Volcanic activity awakens a prehistoric giant anaconda, forcing the local Sheriff and a band of volunteers to stop the menace.
When a severe underground eruption awakens a giant prehistoric creature from its suspended animation, the Megaconda slithers into a small mountain community, destroying everything and everyone. Racing against time, Sheriff Carey gathers a small posse in order to kill the creature before it gets out of the rocky terrain and causes more destruction and death.
