Ranger, The

Teen punks, on the run from the cops and hiding out in the woods, come up against the local authority – an unhinged park ranger with an axe to grind.

In director Jenn Wexler’s punk rock slasher film, a group of punkish teenagers (led by Chloë Levine‘s pink-haired Chelsea) seek refuge and abandon in Blackwood Point National Park after one of them stabs a policeman during a drug raid. When they pay no heed to park etiquette and begin to indulge in loud music, partying, drugs, and vandalism, the local park ranger (Jeremy Holm) terrorizes them with a psychotic brand of justice.
