Six Minutes to Midnight

Summer 1939. Influential families in Nazi Germany have sent their daughters to a finishing school in an English seaside town to learn the language and be ambassadors for a future looking National Socialist. A teacher there sees what is coming and is trying to raise the alarm. But the authorities believe he is the problem.

In August 1939, an English school teacher at a seaside boarding school vanishes without a trace, along with his camera and a cohort of twenty young German girls. As the threat of a Second World War looms in the distance, inspector Thomas Miller (Eddie Izzard) turns his attention away from the tumultuous state of the world to investigate the unusual circumstances surrounding the school teacher’s disappearance. Written and directed by Andy Goddard. Co-starring Judi Dench, Jim Broadbent, and James D’Arcy.
