What appears to be an easy choice on the surface is anything but, as Ben grapples with the fact that this night will determine the course of his life.<\/p>\n<p>Based on a play by screenwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/toompark.com\/filmibaas\/tag\/george-usher\/\">George Usher<\/a>, we open at the rehearsal dinner for Ben (<a href=\"https:\/\/toompark.com\/filmibaas\/tag\/brandon-mcshane\/\">Brandon McShane<\/a>) and Lisa (<a href=\"https:\/\/toompark.com\/filmibaas\/tag\/emma-fassler\/\">Emma Fassler<\/a>). Our couple is very much in love, and the wedding party couldn\u2019t be happier. What could go wrong? After dinner, Ben chooses to walk home and enjoys the fresh air. At home is a bottle of scotch as a gift from his brother Bobby (<a href=\"https:\/\/toompark.com\/filmibaas\/tag\/peter-berube\/\">Peter Berube<\/a>) and really what harm could come from a single drink? No harm, really. \u201cWhat could go wrong?\u2019 comes as a knock at the door and it is Ben\u2019s ex-girlfriend Jules (<a href=\"https:\/\/toompark.com\/filmibaas\/tag\/olivia-cristina-delgado\/\">Olivia Christina Delgado<\/a>) and her friend and support Maria (<a href=\"https:\/\/toompark.com\/filmibaas\/tag\/melissa-recalde\/\">Melissa Recalde<\/a>). Years before, Jules dumped and ghosted Ben with no reason. Upon discovering that Ben is about to be wed, Jules makes a desperate attempt to get Ben back.
