Kevin Bacon<\/a> plays Owen Whistler in this slasher horror film set at an LGBTQIA+ conversion camp. Several queer campers join Whistler for a week of programming intended to “help them find a new sense of freedom”. As the camp’s methods become increasingly more psychologically unsettling, the campers must work together to protect themselves. When an unidentified axe murderer starts claiming victims, things get even more dangerous.<\/p>\r\n Whistler, a gay conversion camp, has been in operation by the same family going back generations. Currently the camp is operated by Owen Whistler and his wife, Dr. Cora Whistler, played by Kevin Bacon<\/a> and Carrie Preston<\/a> respectively. There’s a small staff of four, other than the Whistlers. An activities director named Amy (Noelle Cameron<\/a>), her gay-conversion camp alumni turned athletics director boyfriend Zane (Boone Platt<\/a>), the groundskeeper Balthazar (Mark Ashworth<\/a>), and Molly (Anna Chlumsky<\/a>) the camp counselor who uncovers the horrors of Whistler Camp at the bequest of camper Jordan (Theo Germaine<\/a>). A fifth employee emerges as a decoy within the campers. Suddenly, employees are picked off in a murder streak by an unknown assailant, and only Owen and Molly remain.
