A syndicate wants to buy a whole district to rebuild it. They’ve bought every house except the small gym “Olympic”, where Mr. Austria Joe Santo prepares for the Mr. Universum championships a month ahead. The rich sunny-boy Craig Blake is brought in by the syndicate as a dummy to buy the gym. But then he starts to like the people and falls in love with Joe’s friend Mary Tate.<\/p>\r\n

A dishonest businessman asks rich layabout Craig Blake (Jeff Bridges<\/a>) to help him buy a gym, which will be demolished for a development project in Alabama. But after spending time with weightlifter Joe Santo (Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/a>) and gym worker Mary Tate Farnsworth (Sally Field<\/a>), Craig wants out of the deal. The property negotiations turn ugly, causing a brawl at the gym and a spectacle at a big bodybuilding meet, as Craig learns that it’s not easy to turn your back on fair-weather friends.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
