Grandma Prisja, her daughter Slava and grandson Vovtshyk live their everyday life in a godforsaken forbidden zone of Chernobyl where there are only wild beasts, rusalkas and stalkers. This is a place where the mythical and realistic worlds blend.<\/p>\r\n

Inside the Chornobyl exclusion zone Grandma Prisa, the family matriarch, consorts with water nymphs, eats a diet filled with hallucinogenic mushrooms, and claims to have personally stabbed 12 SS soldiers to death during World War II. She lives together with her divorced and chronically ill daughter Slava and grandson Vova. Unexpectedly, their measured life comes to an end – Grandma Prisa receives a mystical warning about an impending catastrophe.<\/p>\r\n

Vanaema Prisja (Irma Vitovskaya<\/a>), tema t\u00fctar Slava (Vitalina Bibliv<\/a>) ja t\u00fctrepoeg Vovt\u0161\u00f5k (Yaroslav Fedorchuk<\/a>) elavad oma igap\u00e4evast elu jumalast h\u00fcljatud T\u0161ornob\u00f5li keelutsoonis, kus v\u00f5ib kohata ainult metsloomi, russalkasid ja stalkereid.
