Something is causing the rattlesnakes in Southern California to mutate to enormous sizes, and it’s up to Dr. Kaye (Mercedes Peterson<\/a>) to stop their growth before they destroy Los Angeles.<\/p>\r\n The plot is loosely that somewhere outside of Los Angeles chemicals from an Army base that have leaked into the ground plus leaking methane gas from illegal land development have caused snakes to mutate. Some of them grow to giant size and others just become unusually aggressive and bite women in their bathtubs and people at a fireworks show. A woman herpetologist is called on to stop them.
