Greetings from Tallinn!!!
Dear boys and girls,
We are having a wonderful time in Tallinn! Tallinn is the capital city of Estonia, which is in Eastern Europe. This is my last trip away with the Pippi’s Quest project. I am a little bit sad but it has been wonderful and I am so lucky to have met so many lovely people from so many different countries!
We are staying in a hotel next to the Old Town. The Old Town is like something from a fairytale! There were some great places for me to play hide and seek!! Have a look!!! Can you spot me?
On the first day we visited the kindergarten and the boys and girls performed for us dressed up as Pippi!!
They had a big picture of me at the front door too when we arrived!
The children have a really nice playground. I love the way they use recycled materials to have fun! Can you spot what I mean?
I made lots of new friends and had great fun!!
I have eaten lots of yummy Estonian food. It is quite different to the food in Ireland. The boys and girls love eating smoked fish. They eat lots of fruit and vegetables too.
I have to go now and get a bus to the school! The boys and girls are having a goodbye party for us. They will teach us some Estonian games and dances and I will teach them our Irish dance from the sponsored dance!!
See you in school next week!!
Love from Pippi, Mrs. Dunne, Ms. Shevlin and Ms. Timoney
