Tantsuplatsile mahub 7000 tantsijat. Esineda soovijaid on väga palju.

Eesti lapsed armastavad väga lugeda. Raamatuid loetakse igal pool, lasteaias on neil kohe sellised lugemise pesad, patjadega ja puha. Andrus Kivirähk on kirjutanud ühest koeratüdrukust, Leiutajateküla Lottest.
Linnupesa lapsed, kellega koos me ikka mängime, armastavad käia kinos ja teatris. Teatrietendusi tehakse Eestis suvel isegi metsas.
Fine Arts in Estonia
One day children took me along to see fine arts, they took me to the Puppet Theatre. It is in the Old Tow and also has a puppet museum there.
In the centre of Tallinn there is also an Estonian National Theatre, where you can listen to operas and singing and there’s also ballet dancing. They have performances for children too, for example the ballet “Nutcracker” and a musical “Pippi Longstocking”. Can you believe it, they have made a musical about me! In the Linnupesa kindergarten they have a boy called Pärtel and his mother also sang at the opera theatre.
People in Estonia love music and singing, especially choir singing. Already from ages ago Estonians have had dance and song festivals. Dancers and singers from all over Estonia come together and also guests from other countries are invited. The singing area at Song Festival Grounds can hold 20 000 singers and there’s room for 7000 dancers on the dance square. There are always very many people who wish to sing and dance at this festival.
Children in Estonia love to read a lot. You can see them reading in different places, at the kindergarten they have reading nests with pillows and everything. Writer Andrus Kivirähk has written stories about a little dog-girl Lotte from the Inventors’ Village. There are two books about her and also an animation movie. I recommend it, it’s a good laugh!

My friends at Linnupesa kindergarten love going to cinema and theatre. In summer they have theatre performances even in a forest in Estonia. In the kindergarten children like to give performances also themselves. One year Linnupesa Kindergarten had a theatre year and then all children performed in different plays
In addition to singing, playing musical instruments and theatre Estonians love to dance. Above all they love folk dance, they start with it already in the kindergarten. One summer I met folk dancers dancing at night in the middle of the road, that was when folk dancers decided to dance all through Estonia. Also the teachers from Linnupesa Kindergarten went along with it and they spent a lot of time practising before that.
